World Hunger – World Support

Today we received our first donation from the Southern Baptist World Hunger Fund. Each month we will receive a donate to our Lifewerks, Inc. non-profit food pantry fund. This resource will allow us to purchase needed food items to help augment what we receive in in-kind donations from other sources. http://worldhungerfund.com

Bread for Life

This week our bread supply is limited to 10 trays of bread, bagels and muffins down from our normal 30 trays. It is important to make every item count. The priority drops are Chestnut Ridge, Delaware County Pregnancy Center, Drexel and Widener University students. If you know of a person in need please communicate to us immediately so we can set aside food items for you.

Food Pantry

We are in need of volunteers to help sort, clean and stock donated items that have been donated. Also we are in need of help to organize shelving and storage in our kitchen area. If you have two hours free we can complete it this weekend.

Construction help needed

We are in need of an electrical outlet installed in our cafe area. This is the last step needed to be completed so we can install the donated computers from Drexel Techserve. If you can assist in this please
contact TJ Fischer or myself at pastor@thefoundrychurch.org

Literacy Training

Several people have expressed interest in obtaining training in the following areas. You can receive certification in one of the following three areas. We are currently serving students with a tutoring program thru the Chester Public Library and desire to expand the program to include our Wallingford location. Once we have a team of certified adults we can expand our ministry impact in our community. If interested please contact pastor@thefoundrychurch.org
